Cookielet integration allows website owners to set up and manage a cookie consent banner on their website. The integration can be configured directly from the admin panel.
How to Integrate Cookielet with Your Site
Log into your site and got to Site > Integrations > Cookielet
Click Enable Cookie Banner to start the Cookielet setup.
When the banner is enabled, a Cookielet account will be created and configured for the website owner.
Note: Enabling the banner initiates the Cookielet account setup process for the website.
Scan and Categorize Website Cookies
After the Cookielet account is created, Cookielet automatically starts scanning the website. The scanning process identifies the cookies present on the website and categorizes them accordingly.
Important: We recommend running a full scan after the initial setup to ensure that cookies across the website are identified and categorized.
Note:
The initial scan covers only a limited number of pages on the website.
If you want Cookielet to scan the entire website, you can initiate a Full Scan from your Cookielet account.
To run a full scan:
Go to Cookielet account.
Open Cookie Manager.
Select Full Scan.
Start the scanning process.
Configure the Consent Banner
Once the cookie scanning process is complete, the Consent Banner Setup window will appear. From this screen, you can configure the cookie consent banner according to your requirements.
Depending on the available Cookielet settings, you can configure the appearance, content, behavior, and other consent-related options for the banner.
Click Next to complete the process and set up the banner on your website.
Manage the Installed Banner
After the consent banner has been installed, two options are available to manage it.
Manage site banner:
Click the button the manage the site manager. clicking on the same will take you to your Cookielet account. You can manage the bnner from there.
Disable the banner
Click the Disable button to remove the Cookielet consent banner from your website.
When this option is selected:
The Cookielet consent banner will be removed from the website.
Visitors will no longer see the Cookielet consent banner on the website.
Important Notes
Enabling the Cookielet banner starts the Cookielet account setup process.
The initial cookie scan covers only a limited number of website pages.
A Full Scan can be initiated from Cookielet → Cookie Manager to scan the complete website.
After scanning is completed, the consent banner can be configured according to the website owner's requirements.
The installed banner can be removed from the website using the Disable option.
Troubleshoot:
Some cookies are missing from the scan
The initial scan only checks a limited number of pages. Open Cookie Manager in your Cookielet account and run a Full Scan.
I want to remove the consent banner
Log into your site and got to Site > Integrations > Cookielet and select Disable button
